Punjab Government Employees Housing Society is LDA approved society that has been mainly established for the employees of Punjab government but later its doors were opened for the general public. Though it is a small society but all the basic amenities are available. The neighboring societies are Awaisia Colony and PIA Housing Society. Johar Town, Wapda Town and Nespak Societies are also near.
There are many 5 Marla, 10 Marla and 1 Kanal houses available for rent in PGEHS. 5 Marla houses are available from 23,000 to 50,000.10 Marla houses rent ranges in between 38,000 and 75,000. 1 Kanal houses rent starts from 60,000 and goes up to 1.2 Lakh per month.

PGEHS do not have public bus stop in the society however, the bus can be acquired from nearby bus stop. The nearest public bus stop is Ghazi Chowk at College Road that is not far away. Though auto rickshaw and uber services can be hired.

PGEHS is not a big society. Central city Lahore is quite far away from this society.
